Another embarrassing moment, from me

Not so long ago, we had a training session at work. I got there a little late so I had to sit in the front row.

Naturally, the trainer picked on me when he wanted someone to write on the board. All went well until I had to write the word affiliate.

I can’t say that I was nervous, but for some reason – I had forgotten how to spell it. Then I realised that I know how to type it, but just couldn’t write it! So I tried “air-typing”, which made me nervous – so I gave up and wrote aff. Gah!

I wonder if it’s because I only ever use the word when making sites/fanlistings lol! Oh dear, my 3 month probation isn’t over yet!

Does this happen to other people? Or I just have an ageing brain….
