The definition of "honesty"

Found on a job board:

22yr old female uni student. Im willing to do almost anything for cash in hand work. Im honest, hardworking and reliable

If you’re working “cash in hand”, I seriously doubt you can be that honest considering this practice has been linked to not declaring income (for welfare payments, tax reasons etc). Plus, if anything goes wrong you’ll have a tough time considering you were never officially in the employer’s books.
