The Domain
It seems that everytime there is a huge change in my life, I get a new personal domain!

I started a blog probably around 2001, back in Diaryland.com. After a couple of years I decided to get my own domain to house all my online projects and icecreambox.com was born in January 2003. After having icecreambox.com for a while (over 3 years!) I decided to move because I wanted something that’s more… grown up? So nonscripta.org was registered in March 2007.

Whilst I liked the name nonscripta, in the end I didn’t think it reflected “me”. I wanted a name which I can identify to, so in October 2009, 25thday.com was registered!

I also have a livejournal, myspace (which I never use!), posterous, tumblr plus other accounts. Nowadays I use tumblr to post my graphics related stuff (mostly screencaps, gifs for Law & Order!) and this blog for longer posts.

This domain was opened on 22nd November 2009. The name was registered by GoDaddy.com and it is hosted by Dreamhost.

The Owner
This site belongs Kat (short for Kathleen) who was born in Hong Kong but migrated to Australia. She lives in Brisbane and spends her weekdays working, weeknights online, weekends… can vary. Her favourite TV show is Law & Order (Mothership & UK version) and she has two Twitter accounts (@katmky & @ky_mok) because one of them is full of random chats with friends so it’s better to stay protected!

What to expect in this blog?
Everything except work! For obvious reasons I normally do not talk about work on my blog. But otherwise, I’ll most likely be talking about HK entertainment (e.g. TVB, Raymond Lam!), Asian music, tennis and website stuff.

The Making Of…
This site is powered by WordPress, it’s incredibly easy to use and is suitable for all types of sites! Love it and would recommend to anyone. I also use Adobe Photoshop CS4 for manipulating images.
