It’s almost that time of the year when I have to go through a performance review and tell my boss what an excellent worker I am, etc etc. Apart from the standard “My productivity / chargeable hours are fantastic…” (HAHAHA) I present further reasons that a pay rise is much needed (deserved).

My current lemming – Tokidoki for Hello Kitty (cosmetic pouch / cell phone case NOT the handbags!)

Am I too old for Hello Kitty? I could be, but Hello Kitty is a legend! I came from a modest family and had my share of Hello Kitty items during childhood… BUT, now I’m at the age/income that I can buy these stuff without asking for permission… LOL, so I can’t pass the chance.

My Tokidoki for Lesportsac lemmings had only begun a few months ago. @@ Although when I first saw their bags I wanted to get one… but unfortunately they don’t sell them in Brisbane. Even when DFS on the Gold Coast stock them they only have the crappy styles. Now that line is discontinued which is a shame. There’re heaps of it on Ebay though most of prices are inflated. Anyway, there isn’t a point in this, but I maintain that the cartoon prints is for people of ALL ages.

For most of the time I hide my legs because:
- I’m too lazy to shave; or
- The eczema is back.

But living in a place where it can get extremely hot in summer, I can’t live in my black skinny jeans for the whole year. I have a pair of black shorts that I wear a lot, but now I would love to add to that collection – hence I’m shopping with a purpose even though I’m buying “some” other things along the way. I *need* (and I’m using that term loosely) a pair of denim shorts!

Since I’m only going to wear it on weekends/holidays, I don’t want to spend anymore than $50. Slouchy style is best, since thigh hugging is not cool. Vaguely like this one, but in a dark denim – and here’s the difficult part – I want them to sit just above the knee.

Everywhere I’ve looked they’re either hot pants, or at the length similar to that picture (linked above). I did found an okay pair from Target today – but the colour is a bit too light for my liking. If I can’t find anything else I might have to settle for those.

So if anyone knows where I can find the above it would be much appreciated.
