If only we can be sure now that decent people will come… it would be a major letdown if none of my favourites are coming! However, even if that’s the case I will make an effort to go (after work or something).

I’m thinking of volunteering too, might just send in an expression of interest anyway. Not like it’s “guaranteed” anyway!
What is there to do?
My earlier research turned up with nothing. There was something for Adelaide, but not Brisbane! I’m concerned. Plus on the news today they said that the fireworks *maybe* cancelled due to the weather. 
Since this is the first time in 3 years that I’ll actually be here, I was expecting something more!
Come to think of it, as Brisbane will be getting its own tournament next year – it’s quite likely I’ll be here for future years. 
Speaking of tennis plans, I’m only going to Melbourne this year – seriously toned down! But I didn’t really want to go to Auckland again so that will have to do. I wonder if Kooyong or Gold Coast (WTA!) will be interesting enough. hmmm.
