In Mario Ancic’s ongoing battle with injuries, (what are they now? I can’t even keep track…) it’s not surprising he’s going to get some work experience in a law firm during the downtime. Might as well make himself useful.

Croatian tennis player Mario Ančić hired in July this year in the law office of Mary Turudić, located in Gajeva Street in Zagreb. Recently he has seen in the building of the Commercial Court filing submitted to the client. That he is hired in the law office, for Javno confirmed to in a telephone interview, and his ‘head’ attorney Marija Turudić.
The headline to that story is “Mario Ancic quits tennis, starting working in law” – which is worrying! I’ll believe it when I see an announcement on the ATP website though. If they did one for PimPim, then Mario really deserve one.
Generally, I don’t have a good impression of guys who work as lawyers. Their heads tend to be bigger than they should be. (That is just from personal experience.) But let’s face it, in an adversarial situation, you need to be able to intimidate your opponents and there’s a degree of mind games involved. Maybe that’s why I thought Mario wasn’t that nice this year LOL!
