As I’m typing this post at my work desk, spending my time working instead of holidaying – I just wanted to declare that I am not a workaholic. I’ve had my fair share of You’re working over Christmas/New Years?!?!? which probably meant Are you mad/crazy? But I’m here because I want time off in January (AO!) plus I hate the crowds around this time of the year anyway.

Additionally, as I walk around the local shopping centres I see heaps of other people working (and longer hours too!) serving screaming kiddies and their mothers, crazed shoppers and the like, and noone goes up to them and say – YOU’RE WORKING?!?!? ARE YOU A WORKAHOLIC?

I’ve been pretty productive over these quiet days, plus I can have my ipod on speakers and that would be ok. Oh, did I mention I get to park at the basement carpark too? Inner city parking for free – now that’s a perk I wouldn’t mind.
